This easy and delicious meal from grill doesn’t require turning or watching and can be seasoned just the way you like it. Some options include lemon pepper, bbq rubs or simple salt and pepper. Glazing at the end is another idea for those like a bit of bbq or hot wing flavor. Make it your own.

Ingredients:

1 Whole Chicken

1 Can Beer

1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil

Seasonings and/or Glaze To Taste

Directions:

Preheat grill to 350º. Spread the oil over the entire chicken inside and out. Sprinkle the spices over the oiled chicken. Pour out 1/4 of the beer. Sit the chicken on the beer can drumstick end down. Place in the center of the hot grill and cover. Cook 60 to 90 minutes or until thickest part of the thigh reaches 165º on an instant-read thermometer. If using a glaze brush on 1/2 the glaze 10 minutes before taking off the grill. After cooking remove from the grill, tent with foil and rest 10 minutes before carving. Brush the other 1/2 of the glaze on the rested bird before carving or serve on the side.
