Geoff has been in the restaurant business for 32 years, beginning as a line cook back in his college days and working his way to the top. He takes great pride in sourcing only the freshest ingredients for all the home made salsas, sauces and south of the border delights offered at Sol Mexican Grill.
A clear understanding of getting there the hard way has led Geoff to employ countless young people just starting in the job market at his “fast casual” style lunch and dinner taqueria. Working with the local high school’s work study programs has really given him the opportunity to pay it forward in Chico.
Open daily from 11:00-8:00pm, Sol Mexican Grill offers all your favorites including tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, tortas and even a breakfast burrito for those that like breakfast anytime of day. Desserts include fried ice cream, churros and flan for those with a sweet tooth. Sol Mexican Grill ensures that their festive menu has a flavor to please every palette.
