Tiger butter is delicious, but quick and easy with minimal mess. It’s a great candy to make with kids because it takes only minutes, and can be done all in the microwave, though some people like to use a double boiler. As simple as it is, everyone seems to love it.

 Here’s what you need:

A cookie sheet, wax paper, and two microwave safe bowls.

Ingredients

½ pound chocolate, semi-sweet, milk, or dark, whatever you like best

6 ounces of peanut butter, chunky or creamy

½ pound white chocolate (I use white chips)

1. Cover a cookie sheet with wax paper.

2. Assuming you’re using a microwave, put the chocolate pieces in a microwave safe bowl and melt for 30 seconds.  Stir, and repeat until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Don’t over mix it or it gets tough.

3. Fold in the peanut butter.  I like to blend it lightly so that some of the peanut butter is still visible.

4. Pour chocolate and peanut butter mix onto the cookie sheet.

5. Quickly melt the white chocolate using the same method as the chocolate, at 30 second intervals.

6. When the white chocolate is melted, swirl it into the chocolate enough to mix it in while still keeping the colors visible.

7. Chill till it hardens, and break it into pieces.

It takes no time at all, and people love it.
