Here is a store that is a one-stop shop that carries everything you could possibly need for country style living. What began as a ranch supply store has evolved into three stores in one location, Reynolds Ranch & Farm Supply, The Loft and Red Bluff Sporting Goods.
Things continue to change at Reynolds in Red Bluff. In addition to Reynolds Ranch & Supply and The Loft, they have now expanded Red Bluff Sporting Goods, where their full service gun shop is now
open and offering both sales and service. Their new 3,000 square foot expansion includes 1,600 feet dedicated to gun sales and service. There is a full time gunsmith on staff for service and repairs. The building has undergone some big changes over the years. Originally built as a grain mill for Macy and Company, it was purchased by
Carnation when it was converted into a bagged feed company. The Reynolds bought the building in 1989 and have been adding to the product offerings ever since.
What started as a love for raising horses ended with Paul and Kit as the owners of three businesses. When they originally bought the feed store, they stocked it with feed, hay, tack and veterinary
supplies. Within a few years they had added a Western wear store they call The Loft. It serves men, women and children with quality clothing and accessories, and caters to those inspired by country tradition. Name brands like Cinch, Wrangler, Cruel Girl, Girls with Guns, and many more popular brands have made The Loft a hot spot. Quality boots from Boulet, Ariat and Tony Lama add to the quality line up of merchandise
along with fine silver jewelry, hats and accessories. They carry home accessories as well.
Fishing equipment continues to be a big hit at Red Bluff Sporting Goods. The store is known for carrying a great selection and it is one of their big sellers. The addition of a gun shop expects to serve their existing customers and attract new ones as well.
For Paul and Kit, it is all about customer service and giving back to their community. They go out of their way to support the community that supports their business. They work with local high schools in the Workablility Program where local students can gain work experience. They contribute to lots of local organizations and have a special place in their hearts for FFA, 4-H and the High School and Junior High School Rodeo programs. They appreciate the program for “keeping kids on the straight and narrow, and teaching them responsibility and discipline.”
The store is known for being the home of the annual Red Bluff Round-Up Mixer. This fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce and Tehama County Cattlemen’s Association draws a huge crowd. They clear out the feed in the warehouse and throw the biggest party of the year in Red Bluff.
