The historic Bizz Johnson Trails stretches 26 miles between Westwood and Susanville with crossings over the Susan River, bridges and trestles. The rugged Susan River Canyon will take you across the river 12 times on bridges and trestles.

The Susanville biking community has also seen a rise in visitors with mountain bikes. Susanville also boasts Susanville Ranch Park trails which offers a beautiful trail system and now, new bathrooms.
The trail offers 29 miles of single track. Multi-use trails for non-motorized use winds through canyons, around meadows, and up into the hills. Two creeks, forest and meadow are included in the space. Maps are available in town at the Bureau of Land Management Office and at the Lassen County Chamber of Commerce.
