Wilson’s speedy boat is equipped with a ski boom to teach beginners, ensuring success the very first time. This solid metal bar that is attached to the boat and is ideal for learning new skills. The student is located next to the skilled instructor and holds on to the solid boom. This confidence builder allows for excellent communication between the instructor and the student. Language is no barrier, as the boom allows the teacher to demonstrate proper posture, and the student the experience of learning without the fear of falling. This is the best way to learn, with no pressure, just fun. What a great way for families to learn and enjoy water sports! Norm teaches the beginners, the basics, and advanced students new skills. He has been teaching for 20 years, has a wide variety of teaching techniques to utilize, and is the only water sports instructor on Lake Almanor. His boat seats up to 7 people. Off-season Norm has been running the area’s Coppervale Ski Resor for many years. He is half the fun of Coppervale. All the local kids love him out there, and he sure enjoys them all.
