On June 26, Chester Park will again be the site for foot tappin’ magical music and refreshing micro-brews enjoyed along the banks of the Feather River. Begun several years ago by Dr. Thomas Archie to help fund the arts in Chester, this event has been enjoyed each summer by people from all over the Almanor Basin and beyond. This year features “Mossy Creek” from Chico and other bands.
The music and family fun are free to all. Beer tasting is $20 per person 21 years of age and older. Each taster will receive a small glass in which to sample many different beers throughout this afternoon event. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
Sponsored by Plumas Arts and Lake Almanor Community Foundation, all proceeds go to the Chester High School music and drama programs. So, put on your dancing shoes, bring your folding chairs or blankets, pack up the family, and join the great fun from 2pm to 6pm on June 26 at the Chester Park , 190 Main St. You can’t miss it. Just follow the music!
