Don’t miss the air show over the Susanville Airport area on Saturday, August 15th.
It’s the 2009 Susanville Air Fair and the event kicks off with a pancake breakfast from 7 – 10 am. Those flying in for the event will enjoy a free breakfast and the price for others is $6 for breakfast. The big air show will follow breakfast, taking place from 10 am until 1 pm. While there is no admission to enter the grounds, there will be a parking fee for vehicles.
Organizers invite you to fly your plane, drive your car, or ride your horse into the friendliest little airport in the west.The air fair will take place on the edge of Susanville, CA at KSVE – Susanville Municipal Airport.
Cal Fire and the military are expected to show at this event. Bi-plane and helicopter rides will be available. Organizers are hoping to also have military T-28 rides. A classic car show will take place also at the event Featuring P51 Mustangs, Ford Mustangs and Thorp T-18 Tigers.
