Come rock with us at the 18th annual High Sierra Music Festival in Quincy, Ca July 3-6. This 4 day concert with over 75 bands on 5 stages is “the Ultimate Intimate Festival Experience”. Whether you stay the entire 4 days or just drop in for one of the epic late night shows you are sure to have a raging good time. On-site camping and a kidzone make this a family friendly event you won’t want to miss. Outdoor activities will include artists playshops, daily parades with oversize puppets, yoga, Pilates, dance classes and swimming in the adjacent Olympicsize pool. With food and drink on-site delicious and plentiful it is so easy to just relax and soak up the sun and the tunes. Always fan accommodating the festival also offers shower houses for the campers and clean restroom facilities. Free parking is available on an off site lot with shuttle service provided. On-site vehicle passes are $85. Conscious Alliance ( Art that Feeds) will be conducting a non perishable food drive throughout the festival and all patrons donating 20 or more items will receive a special limited edition High Sierra Music Festival poster created by renowned artist Jim Pollack. These posters are printed on paper made of hemp based to products in accordance with High Sierra Music’s commitment to going green. Cents for Sense will also be rockin’ around the festival reminding us all to vote. If you don’t vote you can’t complain is what I hear. Their goal is too register 100,000 voters in 2008. Fifty cents from each ticket will be donated to Cents for Sense and another fifty cents from each ticket will go to the High Sierra Foundation. The High Sierra Foundation was established in 2003 to raise awareness and funds for worthwhile organizations related to music, art, education and social justice.
