INGREDIENTS

• 2 pounds Fuji or Granny Smith apples

• 1/4 cup lemon juice

• 1/4 cup granulated sugar

• 1/4 cup brown sugar

• 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

• 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

• 1 1/2 cups flour

• 3/4 cup granulated sugar

• 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

• 1 cup old fashion oats (not instant)

• 1/2 pound butter, diced

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13 x 9 inch pan

Step 2 Cut the apples in quarters, core and slice thinly.

Step 3 Add the lemon juice, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Crisp Topping

Step 1 To make the topping, add the flour, 3/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup brown sugar, salt, oats and butter to a stand mixer and combine.

Step 2 Add the apples to the pan, put crisp topping on top.

Step 3 Bake for 45-60 minutes or until golden brown.
