Local anglers agree that fall is the best time of year for German Browns in Lake Almanor. Come wet a line along the East Shore and bring your favorite flies and lures. Archery and rifle hunts for mule and black tail deer are the name of the game for the big game fanatics in search of that towering rack and a tender venison steak.
