2009 DAFFODIL DAYS®A Symbol of Hope - American Cancer Society

2009 DAFFODIL DAYS® TAKING ORDERS IN QUINCY UNTIL MARCH 16

A Symbol of Hope – American Cancer Society

A new season of hope has arrived in our community, thanks to the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days. This long-standing fundraising campaign celebrates the Society’s mission to eliminate cancer as a life-threatening disease by offering daffodils to donors in appreciation of their contributions. The daffodil is used

Daffodils are available to purchase throughout our community until March 16th. For a donation of $10, people will receive a bouquet of fresh-cut daffodils. This year also marks the addition of Hugh R. Hope, a special Boyds™ Bear designed exclusively for the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days Bear and a Bunch™ that can be ordered for a donation of $25 and sent along with a bouquet of 10 daffodils. In addition, you can purchase a bunch in a vase for $20, two bunches in a vision vase for $35, or daffodil arrangement in a friendship vase for $100.

Dollars raised through the Daffodil Days campaign will help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking cancer research, provide up-to-date cancer information and education, advocate for public health policies that benefit the community and provide services that improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
